1970-1975 – student of the Department of Physical Geography of Taras Shevchenko State University of Kyiv (qualification – Physical Geography, teacher of Geography)

2004  – thesis of Doctor of Geographical Sciences «Development of zonal landscapes of Ukraine in Quaternary», specialty 11.00.04 –  Geomorphology and Palaeogeography (consultant Zh. М. Маtviishina).

1985  – PhD thesis «Reconstruction of the Late Cenozoic landscapes for the Kyiv Dnipro area (the right bank)», specialty 11.00.04 –  Geomorphology and Palaeogeography (supervisor professor М.F. Veklitch).
